Originally from the UK, Chris was formerly the Head Fitter and Product Trainer for Callaway Golf Europe and has famously fit Callaway Staffers like Jon Rahm before. Some say it was Chris who convinced Jon Rahm to switch out of his 12 year old Aldila shaft into a Ventus Black!

At Callaway Chris was their Product trainer responsible for training and certifying Callaway Golf’s fitters globally. He was head of their social media, VIPs and has fit tour professionals to the dentist who hit his first ever golf ball in front of Chris! Chris was also previously at Titleist and has had over 15 years in golf club fitting. He is one of the best fitters in the world and we are excited for you to experience your perfect fit with Chris.

Originally from Toronto, Canada — the same hometown as Tour Fitting founder Ian Fraser — Dowson brings world-class fitting experience to our Hong Kong studio. With a background that includes fitting at Titleist Canada and working at the RBC Canadian Open, Dowson has helped golfers of all levels, from seasoned professionals to first-time players.

Prior to Titleist, he was part of the team at Cobra Golf, further deepening his understanding of modern club technology and player performance.

Handpicked by Ian from hundreds of applicants, Dowson stands out not only for his technical knowledge, but also for his calm, approachable personality and deep passion for the game. He holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Western University and a Master’s in Philosophy from Fudan University in China — a unique combination that allows him to understand both the physical and mental aspects of a player’s performance.
